Breast Ultrasound screening | RadiantView Ultrasound

“Holistic. Preventive. Accessible”

At RadiantView™ Wellness Ultrasound, we’re redefining what healthcare access looks like. Unlike hospitals and traditional clinics that focus on diagnosing existing problems, our mission is centered on prevention before issues begin—especially when it comes to women’s breast health. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to understand their health early—not only when symptoms appear or when insurance decides its “medically necessary.”

That’s why we offer advanced preventive ultrasound screenings with Elastography with no age restrictions, no insurance requirements, and no barriers to care. We are particularly passionate about breast ultrasound as a proactive tool for women who want greater awareness of their breast health—whether as an alternative for those who prefer to avoid mammograms, or as an additional layer of imaging for peace of mind—especially for those with dense breast tissue.

Our center is designed for those who want to be proactive about their health; women who want a gentle, radiation-free option to better understand their bodies and gain peace of mind. While we specialize in breast ultrasound, we also offer thyroid, pelvic, and abdominal screenings—providing a more complete picture of your health. In our calm, spa-like facility, your care is centered around comfort, clarity, and peace of mind.

Advanced Breast Ultrasound &
Its Benefits

‍ ‍Breast ultrasound is an excellent tool for women who are interested in holistic health and preventative breast care for several important reasons. It is a non-invasive imaging method that provides a detailed view of breast tissue, helping to identify potential areas of concern early—often before symptoms appear or changes become noticeable.

This technology allows us to see detailed differences within the tissue, such as distinguishing between solid and cystic masses, evaluating vascularity, and assessing margins and borders; important details that help guide diagnosis and follow-up care.

Ultrasound is especially helpful for women with dense breast tissue, implants, or prior breast surgery. These factors can limit what mammography shows while ultrasound offers clearer visualization in these areas. By using sound waves instead of radiation, breast ultrasound allows for gentle, repeat imaging without added exposure concerns.

Shear Wave Elastography

RadiantView™ is the only referral-free clinics in OC & LA County offering advanced breast ultrasound with Shear Wave Elastography.

What Elastography does:

  • It measures how soft or hard a lump feels

  • Cancerous lumps are often firm or hard

  • Non-cancerous lumps are softer

  • If a lump is soft, Elastography can help avoid an unnecessary biopsy

  • If stiffness changes over time, it can be a signal a lump is becoming more suspicious

Why this matters: Tissue stiffness gives an extra layer of functional information about masses that their appearance alone doesn’t provide, which is why Elastography is especially helpful in breast imaging.

Both masses (dark grey)on the left look relatively similar. However, with the help of elastography, we see:

Top right: the red indicates firm, concerning tissue which was confirmed to be malignant

Bottom right: the image shows green, softer tissue which was confirmed to be benign.

The bottom patient avoided uneccesary biopsy

Introductory questions

  • All exams are reviewed by a board-certified radiologist who provides a detailed report. Reports are available within 1–3 business days.

Please note that we do not have a radiologist on site.

While our ultrasound technologist is highly skilled in conducting the scan, they cannot provide diagnostic information during your visit. Only the radiologist can diagnose.

  • No, we do not currently accept insurance. This is an intentional choice to make your experience simpler and stress-free. By offering direct-pay services, we eliminate the delays, referral requirements, and scheduling hurdles often associated with insurance-based care. This allows you to book your screenings quickly and on your terms!

  • Absolutely! Although we are not affiliated with an insurance company or hospital, your ultrasound is interpreted by a licensed board-certified radiologist, and the official report and images can be kept in your medical records just like any other imaging study.

Your provider may request the DICOM images of your exam. To release records by email, please provide your physician’s contact information at the time of service, or have your provider contact our office directly at (714) 371-8047 or by email at results@radiantviewultrasound.com.

We do not fax reports. All readings are sent by email only.

  • We are looking for any abnormalities! We can see the differences between cysts, solid masses, calcifications, and more. We can even image behind breast implants.

We capture detailed images so that changes can be monitored over time, helping to ensure that nothing develops into something more concerning.

  • We accept major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Apple Pay.

We also take FSA and HSA debit cards as long as they have a major credit card logo.

    Cash accepted.

Every patient we serve is met with kindness, respect, and genuine care. It’s more than just our work—it’s something we’re deeply passionate about, and we hope that dedication shines through in every visit you have with us.

What is breast density and why does it matter?

Dense breasts contain more glandular and fibrous tissue and less fatty tissue. This is extremely common and completely normal. On a mammogram, dense tissue appears white — and unfortunately, cancer also appears white. This can make abnormalities harder to detect using mammography alone. 30-40% of women have moderately dense breast tissue, and 10-15% of women have extremely dense breasts.

Ultrasound gives real-time cross-sectional images and can show whether a finding is solid or fluid filled, its margins, shape, and internal structure-features useful for distinguishing benign from suspicious lesions.

Adding ultrasound to mammography increases cancer detection in dense breasts because mammography sensitivity falls as density rises. Ultrasound remains clear through dense tissue, making it an excellent choice for those with density.

On the left image, the patient’s high breast density prevents the cyst from showing on the mammogram.
On the right, the cyst is clearly visualized on ultrasound as a black area because high density does not obscure the image.
