Results

Your results will be ready within 1 to 3 business days of your appointment (excluding weekends & holidays).

Results

Your ultrasound results are carefully reviewed by a board-certified radiologist. Once finalized, your results will be delivered securely to you by email.

  • You will receive an email from our office that will include the radiology report written by the interpreting radiologist.

    For your convenience, you may request the images to save for your records.

    If your provider requests the DICOM images or requires a fax, please have them call us at (714) 371-8047 or email us at results@radiantviewultrasound.com.

    Most patients receive their results within 24–72 hours (up to 3 business days) after their appointment.

  • Your report will describe the radiologist’s findings and impressions. If any follow-up imaging or evaluation is recommended, this will be clearly stated in the report. If you have questions about your results, we encourage you to review them with your primary care provider or specialist who can interpret them in the context of your full medical history. However, you may call our office with any questions about your results as well. If the radiologist recommends additional imaging — or if you would like further evaluation for peace of mind — you are welcome to schedule a secondary ultrasound appointment with us.

    A discounted fee applies for secondary imaging with us rather than the full ultrasound charge if it is within four months of the initial exam.

  • Your results are yours to keep and share. The downloadable files make it easy to:

    • Send images (if requested) and reports to your physician

    • Bring copies to appointments

    • Maintain your personal medical records

  • We recommend that you download and safely store your reports for future reference.

    For your convenience, your results are also securely archived in our cloud system, allowing us to access prior studies with us if needed.

  • All ultrasound examinations are interpreted by a licensed board-certified radiologist. After your scan is completed, your images are securely transmitted to an independent off-site radiology group for professional review and interpretation. A written report is then provided to you and/or your healthcare provider as authorized.

    Radiology interpretation services are provided through EMSOW, which coordinates and employs the radiologists who review our examinations.
